UHP Abrasive Water Jet Cutting

We are leading industrial performers in underwater cutting techniques. We have cut 230mm high tensile steel, 450mm cast iron, 1200mm highly reinforced concrete and 36” 4-string conductors in a single cutting pass.

Abrasive water jet cutting technology accelerates small abrasive particles by means of an ultra-high-pressure water jet. This 3000 bar supersonic jet of abrasive allows us to cut any material in a wide variety of situations.

 

Best in class

We don’t know the exact performance limit of our UHP abrasive water jet cutting technology. Current company records stand at 230mm high tensile steel, 450mm cast iron, 1200mm highly reinforced concrete and 36” 4-string conductors in a single pass.

We are constantly innovating and aim for even more cutting edge results in the winter of 2016:

Cutting at increased pressure (3800bar)

Build cutting heads allowing cuts in 7” pipes

Cut up to 1500mm of reinforced concrete

Cut >300mm of high tensile steel

Cut > 570mm of cast iron

Cut at umbilical lengths above 200 m
